Grown man who can't open doors. Teenagers who don't curse when hit by lasers. Evil girl is obviously evil from the beginning. Every plot point was seen ahead by miles. Main character Sams powers is basically camera panning and smelling things too much. Also why is she a rockstar princess superhero.

As someone else said. boooooooooring. Like utterly boring. Boring story. Exhausting to watch. Flat and dull characters, bad acting, and even if fictive story, very poorly written. I don't know, who sanctions these movies at Disney? How can they even make something like this? 1 star for the idea, everything else is just poorly executed. This was not fantastic but there are a few points that are important to point out:
1) It does say it's for ages 8. A demanding 35+ year old person will definitely find this schmaltzy.
2) It focuses on being 'positive. I'm not sure why you people are so upset about the movie. They're fine.
3) They don't explain much and the characters go along with things pretty easily. I'd say they don't bother to explain because they'd rather focus on the kids bonding.
I mean, what do people expect? The box alone suggests exactly what you're getting. If you don't want painfully sweet positivity and predictability, you should've stuck to something else.

And I'm pretty sure, many US-Americans will think there is that country in Europe. br> I'm all for diversity in movies, but if this is Europe, they should have considered the typical ethnicities we have over here.
The story could be funny, but it wasn't.
